New rumors that Yahoo is eyeing Tumblr for a mega-pricy acquisition are startling at first. It’d be an expensive, desperate plan. But if you look over the company’s past, you’ll see history repeating itself and a trail of blood.
Awesome. Great to know my fears about Tumblr’s inevitable slow demise are completely unfounded absolutely legitimate.
This could be the beginning of the end for this wonderful little corner of the internet. Now that Yahoo is apparently cleared to buy Tumblr, I can’t see anything getting better here, only gradually worse. Congrats to the Tumblr team for fetching an ungodly amount of money for this place, but I’m not getting a good feeling about this.
